Great Value Inspections (GVI) is a division of Great Value Enterprises Inc., a proudly Canadian owned business based in the Greater Toronto Area. We provide a complete range of home inspection services for the GTA and surrounding area. We also carry Radon Testing, which is a type of specialty services, can be performed independently or as an adds-on to our Standard Inspection Service depending on customers’ request.
We set our practice standards high, while no inspection industry legislation exists in Ontario. We are bound to “Standards of Practice” and the strict “Code of Ethics”, these ensures our quality service while providing important protections. We carry “Errors and Omissions and Liability Insurance”, whereas many home inspectors are not insured.

Bill Guo (CMI, MBA, B. S., Eng.)
Bill is the founder of Great Value Enterprises Inc. He holds the Certified Master Inspector (CMI) professional designation and is responsible for Great Value Inspections’ operation.
Bill received his professional training and graduated with Honours from Seneca College Home Inspection Program, a program in partnership with Carson Dunlop and Associates and in cooperation with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). Bill holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University, as well a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering degree (B.S., Eng.) from China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
Bill worked for Petro China as a Field Engineer before coming to Canada. In 2002, Bill started his career in the construction industry as a full-time Estimator with Trinity Contracting and Landscaping Ltd. (the GTA), a renowned commercial and industrial construction subcontractors.
Bill conducted his first Buyer’s Inspection in 2003, and he has been continuously receiving and attending professional training and workshops in years. Besides the Seneca College Home Inspection Program, Bill has successfully completed a series of training from the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI), including Subjects of the Recognition and Reporting, as well as Ontario Building Code.
