Fukui Airport (IATA: FKJ, ICAO: RJNF) is a civilian airport in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, located in the southwestern part of Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture, about 20 km from the center of Fukui. The airport opened in 1953 and was one of the first civilian airports in Japan. The airport has a runway with a length of 2,500 meters and a width of 45 meters, which can accommodate the take-off and landing of large passenger aircraft. The airport can receive approximately 200 flights per day, including domestic and international flights. The airport has a terminal building that provides passenger, baggage, business and lounge services. There are several hotels around the airport to meet the accommodation needs of passengers.
