Fuyun Airport (IATA: FYN, ICAO: ZSFY) is a medium-sized civil airport located in Fengdu County, Sichuan Province, southwest China, and is managed by the Sichuan Civil Aviation Bureau. The airport is located about 20 kilometers west of Fengdu County, about 90 kilometers from Chongqing City and 200 kilometers from Chengdu City. The airport was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the third navigable airport in Sichuan Province, and the first airport named after a county in Sichuan Province.
The airport is equipped with a 2.8 km runway, which can meet the take-off and landing requirements of medium-sized passenger planes. The airport has a terminal building, which can accommodate 200 people waiting for planes at the same time. The airport can carry about 1000 passengers per day and 300,000 passengers per year. At present, Rich-Yun Airport has opened a number of routes to Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Lhasa, Guiyang, Guilin, Shijiazhuang, Xi`an, Lanzhou and Urumqi, providing more travel options for local passengers.
