Jinggangshan Airport (IATA: JGS, ICAO: ZSGZ), located in Jinggangshan City, Ji`an City, Jiangxi Province, is a medium-sized civil airport, one of the important civil airports in Jiangxi Province, and the only international airport in Jiangxi Province. Jinggangshan Airport was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the first civil airport in Jiangxi Province, as well as the only international airport in Jiangxi Province.
Jinggangshan Airport is located in the center of Jinggangshan, about 50 kilometers from Ji`an, 150 kilometers from Nanchang, 200 kilometers from Jiujiang and 250 kilometers from Shangrao. The airport covers an area of about 2.5 square kilometers, with a runway length of 2.5 kilometers and a width of 45 meters, which can accommodate the take-off and landing of large and medium-sized passenger aircraft at the same time.
Jinggangshan Airport currently has 20 domestic routes, including routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Xi`an, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Jinan, Harbin, Changchun, Dalian, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Nanchang, Jiujiang and other cities.
