New Zealand United Newspaper will be managed by director and chief editor, Mr. WenYang, with Houwen Tan as executive director. By adhering to the principles of freedom,openness, pluralism, tolerance and development, New Zealand United Newspaper will strive to provide a truly public focused newspaper.

New Zealand United Newspaper will be published three times weekly as a 40‐50 page full colour newspaper. The initial 10 000 copies weekly will be increased according to market growth.

In order to truly reflect the public sentiment, New Zealand United Newspaper will adopt strategies of cooperation with local Chinese media and the wider Chinese community. In accordance with these strategies, media, communities and academics will be able to contribute content to the newspaper.
