The Northwestern Chinese American Association of Greater Washington (NCAAGW) is an organization of the people who once lived in Northwest China, including Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Gansu, and Shaanxi provinces. Registered in Maryland, USA in 1997, NCAAGW bears the goal to provide a platform for Chinese northwesterners in Washington DC metro area (DC, MD, and VA) to meet and develop friendship, to enrich their life with their homeland culture, and to promote the understanding between Chinese northwesterners and the rest of the world.
Any one who has ever lived, worked, or studied in Northwest China, has a family member from Northwest China, or is a close friend of someone from northwest China is eligible to be a member of NCAAGW. Membership is free. When you register to our event, you are registered into our membership. NCAAGW is operated solely by members’ donation of time, energy, skill, knowledge, and money. NCAAGW is non-profit and non-political.
