Ning Zhao is a professional artist, specialized in oil painting and ink painting. He is a member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Visual Arts Mississauga, and Oil Painters of America. He is also an Artist-in-Residency for the Asian Literature & Arts Residency Program of the Asian World Center, Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Ning worked and taught in the Art Research Institute, Hubei Art College and Nanjing Art College in China prior to moving to Canada. In recent years, Ning has been applying his traditional Chinese aesthetic understanding in his creation of North American landscape and figurative paintings. He has received numerous awards. Moreover, Ning`s work is now treasured by art enthusiasts in China, Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States.
